Applications
Assessment is a technique used by a Consulting Company in the interests of its Client to identify skills and assess potential.
Assessment can be targeted at:
- Groups of outside candidates (selected for a position within a search process commissioned by the Client Company) in order to identify, with the greatest precision, the candidate best-suited to the requisites required
- Personnel employed by the company in order to identify areas of interest and skills of individual resources to maximize them to the full, outlining possible developments in career paths or identifying any position within the company that would be better-suited to the resource in question
Assessment Stages
Preliminary stage
- analysis of Client requirements
- definition of skills and dimensions to be analysed
- choice of tests
Operative stage
one/two days of group and individual activities
- tests based on simulation of company and organizational case histories
- self-evaluation tests
- aptitude tests (if necessary)
Conclusive stage
- individual interviews
- meeting of consultants to discuss each individual’s characteristics
- written draft of profiles
